Hubtel IT began life in 2002 - albeit under a slightly different name. Known initially as Hubtel Communications, the business focused primarily on providing telephone systems, network cabling, calls and lines, plus broadband and maintenance services. As technology progressed, and telephony technology became more interlinked with IT, the company started providing IT support alongside their telecoms solutions. In 2013, they formalised their service offerings and established Blue Click IT – making them a total solutions provider. In December 2022, they felt the time was right for both Hubtel Communications and Blue Click IT to merge as one to form the brand they’re known as today: Hubtel IT.
These days, Hubtel IT provide clients with a seamless and complete overview of their telecoms and IT requirements, making sure they’re working hard for them – at the right price. Hubtel IT are proud to be both Panasonic accredited and Microsoft Certified Partners. This means Hubtel IT engineers are fully trained and up to speed on new software releases, and that the business has the full support direct from the manufacturer.
When we began working with Hubtel IT, it was clear that one of their main problems was that they had very little visibility online. Their reputation mainly spread via word of mouth – which was a great achievement but didn’t deliver the reach they really wanted for their IT support services in Birmingham and surrounding areas.
Furthermore, Hubtel IT also felt that their website wasn’t working hard enough for them. It was outdated and wasn’t performing as well as they wanted it to. Alongside this, we could see that the business’s branding could be stronger, and that they weren’t targeting specific sectors as well as they could be doing.
The Creative Ideaz team knew that one of the first steps to get Hubtel IT’s online visibility up was to formulate an SEO strategy. We did this by targeting certain keywords including ‘IT support’ and ‘IT services’ in Birmingham and other nearby local areas.
Whilst the SEO strategy was getting underway, we carried out a thorough overhaul of their website. We created consistent branding, fresh imagery, new content, and built informative sector pages in order to showcase why every local business should choose Hubtel IT for their telecoms services and IT support.
The development of a Bespoke CRM module was used to track the services enquired, notes, suggested package and outcomes across all branches, and market channels and consultants. To address the lack of brand loyalty, we produced a customer loyalty app for both iOS and Android allowing users to automatically earn points on every purchase, get special offers and discount code, and refer friends and family.
Other solutions included live dashboards across business operations to view core metrics in real time, a scalable online portal allowing onboarding of new franchises on demand with built in training and operational knowledge, and an automated integration between the customer CRM and branch software utilising API integrations between systems to remove manual processes.
