Established in 1906, Cadbury Dental is believed to be the country’s oldest dental surgery. Based at the recently redeveloped Lloyds Bank building in Bournville, Cadbury Dental offers a wide range of dental and cosmetic treatments to both private and NHS clients.
Cadbury Dental is run by practice owner and dentist, Kuldip Gakhal. He, along with his team of highly-skilled and qualified dentists, hygienists, dental nurses, and facial aesthetic practitioners have accrued many years of experience in the industry, and are proud to offer quality dental care to clients in and around the Birmingham area.
The Creative Ideaz team has worked with Cadbury Dental for a number of years. Initially, their main focus was NHS patients. However, in recent years they decided that they wanted to expand into engaging with more private dental clients – especially as the local demographic fits this area of the market. The main problem was that their website simply wasn’t speaking to that target audience and wasn’t providing a quality user experience, nor was it compatible with mobile platforms.
We decided to focus primarily on the Invisalign treatment, along with other cosmetic dentistry work as these would provide the better return on investment for the client. What’s more, we knew that Kuldip and his team at Cadbury Dental had the credentials and experience to excel in this area and would deliver better results than any local competition within a two-mile radius.
To achieve our results, we created personas and customer journey maps for Cadbury Dental, and we spent time looking through analytics to see how website visitors were engaging with the Cadbury Dental website. Armed with this knowledge, we were then able to set about redesigning their website and implementing a content strategy. Alongside this, we introduced a short-term paid ads strategy for a local target audience that focused on specific dental treatments, and worked on organic SEO for medium to long-term to target treatments in the local area. We also recommended that Cadbury Dental engage in a social media campaign, and after helping them with content ideas, their in-house team now manages this.
The development of a Bespoke CRM module was used to track the services enquired, notes, suggested package and outcomes across all branches, and market channels and consultants. To address the lack of brand loyalty, we produced a customer loyalty app for both iOS and Android allowing users to automatically earn points on every purchase, get special offers and discount code, and refer friends and family.
Other solutions included live dashboards across business operations to view core metrics in real time, a scalable online portal allowing onboarding of new franchises on demand with built in training and operational knowledge, and an automated integration between the customer CRM and branch software utilising API integrations between systems to remove manual processes.
