We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Birmingham! As a Business development manager, your main duty will be to build your own pipeline of ongoing leads via prospecting and networking, incoming leads from the website and to develop sales of SEO (search engine optimisation), Social Media Advertising and PPC (pay per click management), websites and apps.

This role will be for someone with digital sales background (however, it is not essential). We offer an excellent working environment along with a structured approach to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships
  • Creating strategies to reach new business opportunities successfully
  • Proactively developing sales pipeline to promote the digital marketing services and add new business
  • Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them
  • Handling inbound enquiries and looking after established clients, ensuring repeat business and identifying up-selling opportunities
  • Collaborating with design and sales teams to ensure that the requirements are met
  • Attending client meetings as or when required

Skills & Experience

  • The ability to sell ideas and services
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Experience in digital sales (desired, but not essential)
  • Technical skills to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on the client’s requirements
  • Loves to add value to client business with the use of digital marketing
  • Keeping up to date with the trends, methods and emerging technologies
  • 3-5 years sales experience and a strong sales record
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Have a strong and well-established network to bring to the role
